How to Set Up eSIM on Android for Japan Travel
Before You Start
Check that your Android phone supports eSIM:
- Samsung: Galaxy S20+, Galaxy Z Flip/Fold, Galaxy A54+
- Google: Pixel 3 and newer
- Others: Select models from OnePlus, Motorola, Xiaomi
Your phone should be carrier-unlocked and connected to WiFi.

1. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
2. Tap Add eSIM
3. Choose Scan QR code from service provider
4. Scan the QR code from your eSIM provider
5. Follow the prompts to download and activate the plan

Google Pixel
1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs
